Karen L. Berry
Owner / Certified Mediator
Karen is a certified mediator in basic, family, permanency and IDEA mediations and is in her fourteenth year of promoting the use of mediation as a service for clients with limited resources in organizations like the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, Oklahoma County District Court, and Cleveland County District Court. Throughout her career as a mediator, she has worked with many law students at both Oklahoma City University and the University of Oklahoma as an assistant trainer and as mentor for the Oklahoma Supreme Court Alternative Dispute Resolution program and as a judge for client counseling and mediation competitions for the University of Oklahoma.
She has served as a volunteer, mentor and community supporter for many youth and family organizations including Frontline Family Solutions in McClain County, Positive Tomorrows, Youth Services of Oklahoma County, and the Oklahoma City Arts Festival. She also serves as an advisory board member for the State of Oklahoma Agriculture Mediation Program and is a member of the Oklahoma City FBI Alumni board. Karen is a member of the American Bar Association, President of the Oklahoma County Bar Auxiliary and serves as Co-Administrator of the Cleveland County First Choice Recovery Family Drug Court program in Norman.
